Jeanne Gibson is one of the founding partners of Gibson LeClair, LLC. She is the firm's tax partner and oversees all tax compliance programs, including businesses, individuals, trusts and nonprofits. She also is involved in review and compilation services for small businesses and nonprofit organizations. She is a member of:

• The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
• The Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants

Jeanne earned her bachelor's degree from Swarthmore College and her Masters in Taxation from Thomas College. Jeanne's prior public accounting employment history includes working for several local public accounting firms over the past 20+ years. Jeanne has represented clients before the Internal Revenue Service and Maine Revenue Services. She has been involved with business start-ups, purchases and sales of existing businesses and succession planning for small businesses. She currently works with clients in the automobile dealership, construction, retail, healthcare, forest products, hospitality and professional service industries.

Jeanne has served on the boards of the KV Federal Credit Union, Augusta Kiwanis Club, Augusta Trails, Augusta Rotary Club, Augusta Rotary Foundation and the Salvation Army, Capitol City Corps. In addition Jeanne has provided volunteer professional services as Chairman of KV Federal Credit Union's Supervisory Committee, Augusta Kiwanis Club Treasurer, Augusta Trails Treasurer and Augusta Rotary Club Treasurer.

In her spare time Jeanne loves to be outdoors kayaking, snowshoeing, gardening or tending to her goats and assorted household creatures with her daughter.
