Steve LeClair is one of the founding partners of Gibson LeClair, LLC. He is the firm's audit partner and oversees the firm's quality control and peer review programs. Steve is actively involved in audits, reviews and other services for nonprofit organizations. He is a member of:

Senior Manager

Scott Nivus joined Gibson LeClair, LLC in October, 2009. He currently is a senior manager working in both the tax and audit areas of the firm. He is a member of:

Senior Accountant

Rebecca J. B. Hayward joined Gibson LeClair, LLC in November, 2010. She currently is a senior accountant working in both the tax and audit areas of the firm. She is a member of:

Supervisor

Melissa Perkins joined the firm at its inception in 2003. As Supervisor, she is responsible for planning, implementing and coordinating audits, performing reviews and compilations and preparing tax returns for small business, individual and nonprofit clients.

Manager

Jim Wilson joined Gibson LeClair, LLC in 2007. Jim has practiced as a CPA for over thirty five years. From 1973 through 1998 he was a partner in CPA firms in Maine with a specialization in providing services to nonprofit organizations throughout New England. From 1999 through 2007 he worked in the Portsmouth, New Hampshire office of a CPA firm providing audit, tax, accounting and advisory services exclusively to tax exempt organizations in both Maine and New Hampshire. He and his wife live in Portsmouth, New Hampshire and in Bogotá, Colombia where they are engaged in a variety of educational projects.

Staff Accountant

Kristin Guerette joined Gibson LeClair, LLC in May 2009 as a summer intern. At the end of the summer, she returned to Bentley University for the 2009-2010 school year, and graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2010 with a Bachelors Degree in Accountancy and a Finance minor. She returned to Bentley University in the fall of 2010 to pursue her Masters Degree in Accountancy. She graduated from the Masters program in May of 2011. Immediately after graduation, she began working full time for Gibson LeClair, LLC.

Kristin's experience at Gibson LeClair has included working on all phases of nonprofit audits, as well as preparing tax returns for several of our nonprofit clients.

Kristin is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the international honor society for collegiate schools of business. She is also a member of the Bentley Honor Society, ranking in the top 10% of her class.

Staff Accountant

Michael McKenney joined Gibson LeClair, LLC in August, 2009. As Staff Accountant, he is responsible for performing a variety of tasks on audit, review and compilation engagements as well as preparing tax returns for individuals, small businesses and nonprofit clients.

Michael earned his bachelor's degree from Saint Michael's College and joined the firm following graduation. Michael has received recent training in accounting and auditing of nonprofit and governmental organizations.

Michael is in involved in the community, serving as treasurer on political campaigns. He is also an active member of Cynergy, a young professionals group fostering career, social and community betterment.

Administrative Assistant

When you call Gibson LeClair, LLC you will hear Min's voice first. Prior to joining our firm Min was receptionist for NorthCenter Foods in Augusta. Min has had many years of customer service through various positions. Her varied experience has helped her develop optimal interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.

When not in the office, Min enjoys spending time with her husband. Her interests are fishing, hunting and camping. She enjoys traveling to visit family and friends all over the US and Canada.
